CASE 007 | 06/12/2025 : farewell, my turnabout.

psst! hey! this case contains decisive evidence. . or should i say MAJOR SPOILERS from the fourth case of phoenix wright: justice for all, proceed if you dont mind seeing these !

i mightve just finished this case like. . 10 minutes ago? BUT this case was so fun (and not to mention rewarding) to play through in its entirety, there were genuinely no points throughout this case were it fell flat it was just THAT good :')

ive definitely had my doubts with jfa and whether or not the rest of the ace attorney games would actually compare and continue with the amount of fun ive had playing the first game and to say this case completely blew my expectations and negativity towards this game out of the water would be an understatement

there are so many things i have to say about this case i actually have no idea where to start. . so maybe ill just write everything as they come into my mind? okay that'll work!

IT WAS SO COOL SEEING FRANZISKA ENTER THE COURTROOM like you couldnt tell me seeing her BARGE IN AT THE MOST PERFECT TIMING POSSIBLE WASNT THE COOLEST THING EVER?? i loved seeing how much her character developed throughout this case (especially during the scene after the credits roll (┬┬﹏┬┬) it nearly made me want to cry. . oh franziska von karma i fear there is nothing wrong you can do. ever.)

also i sorta kinda mightve accidentally got the bad ending during the part where you had to present evidence to someone else other than the judge and edgeworthBUTTTTTTBUTBUTBUT I BLAME THE GUIDE THAT I WAS USING OKAY. i couldnt even bring myself to look at the game when i realized the mistake i made. . JUST THINKING ABOUT IT MADE ME SO SAD EVEN THE SLIGHTEST GLANCE TOWARDS THAT SCENE OF WRIGHT MADE ME WANNA TEAR UP so lesson learned: read trueachievent's guides thoroughly. . okay but just take a look at that part of the guide yourself PLEASEEE i didnt scroll past the first part cause i didnt wanna spoil the rest of the things i had to do. .

seeing everything adrian's character had to go through honestly made me go through the five stages of grief LMAO like she couldn't catch a break AT ALL until the very end of the case but im so so so glad that she ended up being happier than ever by the end of everything :'D yeah what she actually did mightve been illegal but its okay it was all justified anyways

speaking of people who couldnt catch a break at all. . POOR MAYA i mean at least De Killer had the decency to not lay a hand on her throughout the entire case but i swear everything shes gone through mustve been TERRIFYING. im so glad theyre making phoenix splurge the expenses of her food again like Aww awwww dont cry about your wallet wright look at maya shes the happiest girl in the world

can i also just point out EVERY WRIGHT AND EDGEWORTH INTERACTION HELLO????? i dont think i can even count the amount of times theyve said each others names throughout this case anymore. . let alone with their "trust" scenes, THE AMOUNT OF TIMES EDGEWORTHS HELPED WRIGHT THROUGHOUT THIS CASE, and their twin telepathy??? im sensing something scary here and the thought of their future interactions scares me even more

IM SO GLAD GUMSHOES BACK TO BEING A CENTRAL PART OF THE STORY it was so funny seeing franziska's tracking device on gumshoe actually having a major use in this case HASJDHAJSHDA poor gumshoe though i mean at the very least im glad that he only had minor injuries but at the same time How did he manage to run into a telephone pole of all things. Not even a red light. i swear these are the things that only happen with gumshoe

it was so funny seeing gumshoe join at least temporarily wright's office He was just trying his best to do something okay dont make fun of him hes doing what he can (as a gourmet chef none the less!) i love how wright just accepts his fate every time something like this happens to him like HE KNOWS no matter what he does theres no way out of it and i can respect him for that

seeing everything about engarde's situation slowly crumbling down on top of him was such a satisfying thing to see. . adrian andrews was right when she was mentioning how petty juan and engarde let alone men in general made everything to be it was actually insane seeing her mention how those two just viewed everything as a game cause SHE WAS RIGHT. it was such a relief knowing that engarde got the ending he deserved, especially with how he has to live every moment in fear of De Killer too this probably was one of the best endings a case has had so far

also something thats super funny to me is how i thought i was nearly done with this case in the last blog when i COULDNT HAVE BEEN FURTHER FROM WRONG HASJDHSADA there was still SO MUCH left to this case im honestly kinda glad that i didnt get to finish it in one day (i mean i doubt i wouldve either way since i started continuing this at 3pm today? and i ended up finishing the case by 8pm. .) it definitely gave me more time to just Think about everything thats happened in the case so far it was sort of a happy accident

AND ANOTHER THING: SOME OF THE SIMILARITIES BETWEEN ADRIAN AND LANA SKYE?? ive seen someone pointing out how one of their sprites are similar (see: lana's surprised sprite and adrian's shocked sprite) while searching for lana's sprites for my rfta blog and seeing how in the end adrian was able to smile again reminded me so much about lana it made me miss playing rfta a bit (‾◡◝) the way both of these were such good cases too their tether is REALLL

isnt it kinda silly how engarde managed to dig his own grave when he left a note for wright and pearly to feed his cat?? like if phoenix didnt have to feed his cat no one wouldve known where De Killer kept maya let alone the clues which were found at his mansion. . thank you shoe the cat for meowing at the end of that one call i dont know how phoenix managed to connect the dots That Quick but im glad he did

phoenixs arc where he truly realized what it meant to be a defense attorney was actually so cool to see. . no wonder this games called justice for all cause it really makes you think: what would you do for justice? for the truth? even if it came at your own expense would you still do it for justice? seeing wright and edgeworth bring this up after the end of the trial was actually so nice to see too like Wow youve come so far there mightve been moments where theyve wondered what it all meant but they just continued to hold on and they got their answers aww

one thing though i hate that hotti was brought back can we just leave him in reunion, and turnabout PLEASE that guy weirded me out every time he talked about franziska whats up with jfa and the amount of concerning interactions between characters

okay so since i cant remember the rest of the points i was about to write, here's my gameplay stats for the trilogy so far! i started jfa on the 25th of november, 2025 and finished it on the 6th of december, 2025, with a playtime of approximately 26 hours and 39 minutes with my total playtime for the trilogy being 53 hours and 59 minutes ! ive opened the game 23 times, with 13 of those times being the amount of times ive opened it to play jfa!! thanks again to the nintendo 3ds activity log for keeping track of this

overall this case was SUCH a delight to play through it remedied and made up for every problem ive had with the previous jfa cases!! this is probably gonna be one of my favorite cases now there were just so many highlights to this case ^_^ i dont think ill play trials and tribulations at least within the next week but who knows i might just end up doing what i did with jfa again. . Whoops

anyways thats all for now!! if i have anymore thoughts about this super amazing case ill probably be adding them to this blog later butt for now that's it :D as always, thanks for reading, see you in the next blog!
