happy year of apollo justice, 2026!! i started this year the (w)right way by having the first song i played this year be trucy's theme ^_^ i have several incoherent thoughts about this case so far buttttt ill just try to keep this blog short so i can get ready for bed and continue my apollo justice play through before i go back to being busy for the rest of the month. .
remember my rant about the art and gimmicks of this game from the last blog ? well i got over them QUICK cause the art style's already warmed up to me and using apollo's bracelet (which i predicted being the source of his sensing thing correctly, yay ! although if you think about it it isnt too hard to guess that the bracelet's where it came from but shh) is actually SO MUCH more fun than i expected!! i bet in future trials ill just be waiting for the moment to use his bracelet LMAO
OH AND!!! SUPER IMPORTANT: EMA SKYE!!!!! IM SO HAPPY TO SEE HER i love how even though shes changed so much you can still see traces of the ema from rfta :'DD i loved the part where she and apollo did the footprint testing like you bet i tested all those footprints at the crime scene !! investigating all of them is VERY important ok and isnt just an excuse for me to play around with the footprint testing kit i swear. . her and trucy's interactions are so cute i hope the game has a bajillion more of them cause they'd be the besties ever WASHDKJHAJKSHDA oh and apollos there too i guess Sorry no hate to him but he just. ruins the mood sometimes but thats OK since he manages to make the situation funnier at the expense of making it awwkkkwwwaarrrdd for those around him at least !
also can i just mention how . Weird the panties thing was like yeah i know its importance to this cases plot and how it was supposed to be a comedic sort of thing but. couldnt they have chosen another article of clothing . . i mean theres nothing inherently wrong with panties its just. i dont even feel comfortable writing it wahrhjgh i dont knoww it was just weird,,, i blame doctor hotti for this or hickfield since apparently hes graduated from hotti clinic in the past 7 years
was phoenix's forged evidence thing from 7 years ago really that big of a deal that he needed to have his "prosecutor miles edgeworth chooses death" moment i cant even COMPARE it to edgeworth's thing though cause at least he went back after more or less a year while phoenix decided to start a new life larry butz style it was kinda funny finding out that klavier was the one who made him step out of being a defense attorney too WHASJDHSAJDHA he had a taste of his own medicine after ruining prosecutors' trial records for 3 years i bet you manfred von karma was CHEERING the moment he found out phoenix wasnt a defense attorney anymore
speaking of klavier ! its impossible to talk about turnabout corner without mentioning the biggest elephant in the room which is the INSTANT hit of klapollo the moment the game introduces him to you. and their court interactions too?? like dang i thought narumitsu was bad but then i get hit like phoenix by the klapollo car cause WERE LITERALLY JUST IN THE SECONDDD CASE OF THE GAME dont get me wrong im not complaining AT ALL but wow it sure was a shock ! outside of klapollo klavier's whole gimmick is so cool like okay sure the courtroom is a concert hall now whatever you say prince!! OH and the the whole herr forehead thing too which is even funnier considering apollo literally has. one of the most average foreheads ive ever seen WAHSJHDASJDHA
ALSO HOW DID EVERYONE JUST. MOVE ON FROM THE MR HAT KIDNAPPING TRUCY THING SO QUICKLY. i mean yeah sure the trials important but. did they really buy what apollo said. i mean. just. look at him. how would he *theoretically* settle matters with a mask☆demasque wannabe in the span of more or less 20? 30 minutes? if anything he'd be taken hostage along with trucy sorry polly
and on the topic of moving on quickly: HOW WAS PHOENIX SO UNFAZED WITH GETTING HIT BY A LITERAL CAR AND GETTING SENT 30 FEET INTO THE AIR. HOW IS HE STILL ALIVE. i mean honestly now that i think about it it isnt that much of a surprised considering worse (aka bridge to the turnabout) hasss happened to him before. . BUT STILL why did no one in that courtroom care is this just average beanix activities now or what
okay anywayyysss, thats all for now!! i still have a few more thoughts about this case but unfortunately my brain is the equivalent of phoenix's during the lost turnabout so ill probably just end up adding them in the next blog or whenever i remember them. . as always, thank you if you took the time to read this and see you in the next blog ! ^_^
