okay writing this down in notes because i have SO many thoughts about this case so far (despite just starting it) first of all!! im actually so annoyed that ive believed what atmey said about godot and edgeworth after playing through as edgeworth like that guy doesn't know him AT ALLLLL. also. speaking of edgeworth. THE WAY HE BOOKED A PRIVATE JET WHEN HE HEARD ABOUT WRIGHTS SITUATION HELLOOOOO??? welcome back nrmt ive missed you so much (┬┬﹏┬┬)
this case has literally made me invested from the moment it started. like even though i have to eat lunch right now the only thing i can think of doing after i finish eating is finishing this case. . im pondering on whether or not i should savor the last case of the trilogy but at the same time i feel like ace attorney cases are best played through in one sitting (especially if youre some sort of amnesiac like me who forgets everything within a matter of minutes. .)
i love how this case started i wish we got more of the slice of life visual-novel-esque game before jumping back to the whole attorney-murder-solving thing (even if thats the whole point of this series. .) also!! pearlys back!! shes really just the sweetest i hope she doesn't blame herself for what happened to maya like in that last case :(( and!! speaking of maya: can i just mention how much of an insane person phoenix is. but its so sweet seeing how much he really cares for her like he got over his fear of heights and ran through a burning bridge WITHOUTTT HESITATION. even if he usually just finds her annoying 90% of the time he actually genuinely values her as a companion so much as to risk his own safety for her :'))
and also the major elephant in the room??? iris???? i have no idea whats going on with her so far if shes just dahlias secret third identity (after what she said to edgeworth in the detention center) or what. the way she and phoenix were interacting too?? what does she know that we dont. . good luck to edgeworth being her defense attorney tomorrow at least hes finally going through the lawyer path he was originally planning to follow (aka being a defense attorney) sorry turnabout goodbyes mention its just impossible to not mention that case. .
seeing all the references to the previous cases in this game during this case was so cool i love that they brought up dessie when you interact with the snowmobile (or snow bike thingy according to maya) i wonder how shes doing. . oh and larry's, sorry, LAURICE DEAUXNIM or however you spell his new name, back which was kinda funny given the situation (and i have to give props to him for bringing edgeworth back !) but i was honestly hoping that his appearance in the stolen turnabout would be the last in this game. . nothing against him id rather have larry than oldbag but at the same time. its larry.
also seeing edgeworths perspective is so cool i cant wait to play as him during the trial. . i wonder if he'll notice the similarities between godot and diego when he enters the courtroom (especially considering that he was there during his first trial !) i love the differences between his and phoenixs internal monologue even if its so subtle wahahdkasjda. . and also it was so sweet hearing that edgeworth took the time to visit wright before going to the detention center like aww awwww and the fact that wright trusts edgeworth with his badge, magatama, AND defending iris despite being a prosecutor?? yeah i really believe that wrights a very dear and indispensable friend to you alright edgeworth sure
anyways, thats all for now!! i just started the case (literally only just got to the part where we go to dusky bridge as edgeworth for the first time) so there isn't much for me to say about the overall case yet. . but as always, thanks for reading and see you in the next blog (which is probably gonna end up being posted sometime today. . woah the thought of 3 blogs in one day?? that would be a record for this site !) ^_^
