ohhhhhhhmyyygoshhhhh. valuable lesson learned: never play through an ace attorney case right before you go to bed or else you might end up finishing the entire case instead of going to bed at a somewhat reasonable time. . i might replay through this case tomorrow morning before starting the bridge to turnabout but WHATTTTTTT.
okay since its one am right now ill just try writing everything as it comes to my mind,, hopefully. . there were so many revelations all at once i actually have no idea where to start. woah godot and mia aka diego armando cool reveal it was so cool to finally see diego, although i wasnt expecting all him to call mia kitten but whatever that was kinda funny
seeing how much mia learned from him and how she passed down everything she learned onto phoenix made me recontextualize so many of the previous trials where mia helped phoenix :'DD i really hope the bridge to turnabout explores their dynamic more even if its probably gonna be in phoenix's perspective. . i wonder how everything in that case is gonna play out ohmygosh as much as i want to continue it right now im 100% gonna fall asleep not even halfway through the case because of how sleep i am right now
also. hi bratworth ! it was a pleasant surprise to see you here ! i love how they incorporated so many of manfred von karma's traits into bratworth's sprites cause it really showed how much mvk truly influenced his journey as a prosecutor. . and did he ever so subtly mention franziska as well when he was talking to dahlia (?) i wasnt really able to tell cause i accidentally skipped through that bit of dialogue but it reminded me so much of her
as for dahlia. . she may be a terrible person but shes innocent in my eyes. not in the same way as every judge sees her (speaking of judges why did capcom bring back the judge's secret twin again LMAO) but in the sense that everything shes done has a justifiable cause because of literally everything thats happened to her. she was literally groomed and her older sister was aware of it??? the one who was grooming her being her own literal tutor???? girl no wonder she jumped off that bridge i honestly wouldve done the same thing too even without the diamond
i honestly didnt think the defendant was that bad at first until everything with dahlia was revealed which honestly made me not feel that bad when he poisoned himself at the end of the case. . thank you godot (diego? im not sure which name to use for him. . also why did he choose the name godot when he had his melissa beginnnings. . WAITTTTT PAUSE I JUST REMEMBERED WHAT ATMEY SAID ABOUT EDGEWORTH SAYING THAT GODOT WAS AN EVEN BETTER PROSECUTOR THAN HIM. NO WONDER CAUSE HE WAS THERE IN HIS FIRST ACTUAL TRIAL OHMYGOSH)
and the reveal with the necklace too?? honestly the only thing i could think of when i first saw that necklace again was feenie eating the one dahlia gave him. . im surprised with how well theyve actually managed to tie everything together especially with the case being technically seen through phoenix's readthrough of it which is why we're continuing with something related to this case in the bridge to turnabout like woah
oh yeah and younger gumshoe ! honestly he was pretty much the same (at least thats how i saw him) minus the fact that he probably had more money then than he did now. . also i love how edgeworth has always just had the natural instict to threathen gumshoe whenever hes really. Not helping with his testimony like aww some things really do never change do they
anyways thats all my 1am brain can write without malfunctioning. . ill probably fix everything i want to change in the morning and add a bit more things but for now thats all!! as always, thanks for reading and see you in the next blog ^_^
